Verlie BV attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data and wishes to treat them with the necessary respect. This privacy statement is therefore aimed at informing those whose personal data are processed by Verlie BV.
This statement describes the manner in which your personal data are collected and processed on this website and in the execution of assignments by Verlie BV in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (entry into force on 25/05/2018).
1. Definitions
- Data Subject = the client/customer or others who complete the contact form on the website or who browse the website www.verlie-bv.be.
- Responsible processor = Verlie BV.
- Processor = all companies that Verlie BV calls upon and that may interact with the personal data of Data Subjects.
2. Processing of personal data
On the website you can fill in a contact form. Following data collected through this channel are processed by us:
- First name
- Name
- Company name
- Address data
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Location data
- IP address
If you enter into an agreement with us, Verlie BV may become aware of personal data of the client's customers, its personnel, suppliers and appointees (non-exhaustive list). In the context of looking after the assignments awarded to Verlie BV by clients, it is not excluded that Verlie BV may become aware of sensitive personal data which may be processed by Verlie BV:
- data of persons under 16 years of age
- personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, and the processing of genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of uniquely identifying a person or data relating to health, or data relating to a person's sexual behaviour or sexual orientation.

The following grounds are used to process your personal data:

- Execution of an agreement

- Processing for the purpose of archiving in the public interest, scientific or historical research or statistical purposes
In the event that you complete the contact form, you give Verlie BV express consent by checking the box provided at the bottom of the contact form. If you e-mail Verlie BV, you also give it permission to process the data.
If you entrust assignments to Verlie BV, you grant permission for all personal data with which Verlie BV comes into contact in the execution of its assignments to be examined. This consent must be given explicitly. If you do not give Verlie BV this permission, it will be able to take cognizance of the personal data on the grounds of the execution of the agreement or its legitimate interest.
For the processing of sensitive data as part of the performance of its services, Verlie BV requires your express consent, or guarantees you as the client that you have the consent of the data subject, and that he can communicate this consent to the client on paper or another medium.
Our Web site does not intend to collect sensitive data about Web site visitors who are under the age of 16 unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent.

4. Purposes
Verlie BV processes the data for which you have given permission in order to fulfill its activities:

6. Retention
Verlie BV will retain your data for an indefinite period of time if it concerns personal data it acquires via the website www.verlie-bv.be or via e-mail, and for the duration of the agreement if it concerns personal data it processes in the context of its assignments. Verlie BV strives to inform you as well as possible about its services.
Verlie BV will provide the greatest guarantee to act on your rights as described in point 8. The data subject will be asked at regular intervals to confirm the accuracy of the data.
7. Level of protection
Verlie BV guarantees an appropriate level of protection on an organizational and technical level. We do this by securing your data appropriately and also requiring this level of security from our processors. At a minimum, security is provided by using a password to protect sensitive data.
8. Rights of the data subject
This privacy statement aims to inform you adequately about your rights. You always have the right to oppose the processing of your data. If you wish to access, correct, transfer or restrict the processing of your data, you may of course do so. Under certain conditions your data can be deleted. Your request to this effect should be addressed to info@verlie-bv.be.
To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy black out your passport photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the identity document), the identity card/passport number and the National Register number. This is to protect your privacy.
